Introducing the Maji Collection – a range of one-of-a-kind pendants inspired by the beauty of imperfection. As a jewelry designer based in Kenya, I wanted to create something that was not only visually striking but also carried a message of hope and positivity.
The Organically You pendant is a result of the water casting technique – an age-old process of casting that involves pouring molten silver into cold water. The resulting nugget-like shapes and unique forms are a testament to the organic nature of the process, with each pendant bearing its own distinct character.
Crafted using eco-friendly, 100% recycled sterling silver, these pendants are a beautiful everyday luxury that carries with it a message of responsibility towards our planet. The freshwater finish adds a mysterious calm matte tone to the surface, giving each piece a distinctive look and feel.
Each pendant in the Maji Collection is a one-off creation, evolved from a fresh perspective on traditional techniques. Measuring no longer than 3cm and wider than 1.5cm, each pendant comes with a pin and butterfly back to ensure it stays securely in place.
Maji, meaning ‘Water’ in Swahili, represents change, optimism and responsibility.
